Office of U.S. Senator Alan Armstrong · Serving Through January 2027

Request a meeting with Senator Armstrong.

Oklahomans, organizations, advocacy groups, and visiting delegations are welcome to request meetings with the Senator or a member of his staff. The eight-month service window is tight, and the office accommodates as many requests as it can — but not every request can be granted.

About Meeting Requests

How the scheduling process works.

Every meeting request submitted through this page goes to the Senator’s scheduling team, who weigh it against the rest of the calendar and route it to the right place. Some requests are best handled by the Senator directly. Many are better served by a member of the policy staff who works that issue every day. Either way, our goal is to give you a substantive conversation with the right person, not just a photograph in a hallway.

The office considers requests for in-person meetings in Washington, in-person meetings in Oklahoma when the Senator is home, virtual meetings by video conference, and telephone calls. Staff-level meetings are often the fastest path to a real working conversation, especially on technical or pending-legislation questions.

Senator Armstrong was appointed to fill Oklahoma’s seat through January 2027, and his priority is moving permitting reform across the finish line. That focus shapes the calendar. We do our best to be straight with you when a request is unlikely to be granted, and to offer an alternative path forward whenever we can.

What We Ask in Your Request

Three things that help us help you.

The scheduling team reviews every request that comes in. The more clearly your request answers the questions below, the more quickly we can route it and respond. None of this needs to be polished — just clear.

Who You Are

Tell us who you are and who you represent.

Your name, your hometown, and the organization, agency, business, or coalition you’re representing. If you’re traveling as part of a delegation, list who else will be in the room. If you’re an Oklahoman coming as an individual constituent, that’s fine too — just say so.

The Specific Ask

Be concrete about what would make the meeting a success.

Is there a bill you want to discuss, an agency action you’d like flagged, a policy view you want on the record, or a piece of casework that needs attention? The clearer the ask, the easier it is to put the right staffer in the room and prepare a useful conversation.

Time & Format

Give us a window, and let us know how you can meet.

Share a range of dates that work, your time zone, and whether you can do in-person in Washington, in-person in Oklahoma, a video call, or a phone call. Flexibility on format and timing materially improves the odds the office can accommodate the request.

Need Help?

Call our Washington office at (202) 224-4721 and ask for the scheduling team. If your request is time-sensitive — a delegation already on the calendar, a hearing this week, an active casework matter — please say so when you call so we can flag it for the appropriate staffer.

Setting Expectations

A few practical notes before you submit.

Not Every Request Is Granted

Honest expectations about the calendar.

The Senator’s calendar is finite, and on any given week it is set by the Senate floor schedule, committee work, and Oklahoma travel. When a direct meeting with the Senator isn’t possible, the office will often offer a staff meeting, a phone briefing, or a written response — alternatives that can move your issue forward without waiting for a calendar opening.

Casework Requests

Issues with a federal agency have a faster path.

If your request is about a specific federal-agency problem — Social Security, the VA, IRS, USCIS, passports, Medicare — please don’t wait for a meeting. Open a casework file through Help with a Federal Agency. That’s the fastest route to a staffer who can act on your behalf.

What We Cannot Do

Some requests sit outside our scope.

The office cannot accept meetings that are lobbying-adjacent in a way that would create a real or apparent conflict of interest, cannot offer legal advice or representation, and cannot intervene in active litigation or matters pending before a court. We’re glad to suggest the right contact when a request belongs elsewhere.
